Afeni Shakur Davis, political activist, philanthropist and mother of the renowned rapper Tupac Shakur, died in Marin County Monday night at the age of 69, authorities said.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to Davis’ home in Sausalito just after 9:30 p.m. on reports she may have suffered cardiac arrest, said Lt. Doug Pittman a spokesman for the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

The racial makeup of Sausalito was 6,400 (90.6%) White, 65 (0.9%) African American, 16 (0.2%) Native American, 342 (4.8%) Asian, 10 (0.1%) Pacific Islander, 53 (0.8%) from other races, and 175 (2.5%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 287 persons (4.1%).

I live in Marin, and I learned quickly that many folks will say Sausalito Ca. when they really mean “Marin City”, an area next door to Sausalito. Marin City is a much lower income area, and where most black people around here live, or have lived at some time.
She might be dead but she’ll still be voting for Hillary in November.

The quality of cocaine in Marin County is much better than in the ‘hood, and the dealers are of a higher class.
Tupac’s mom made close to $1 million per year managing his estate. She lived in Saulalito.
I assure you that Marin City, within Marin County, is indeed a ghetto and not a place to be outside of your vehicle.
Fun fact: As he was fleeing a competing rapper after an event, Tupac’s bodyguard fired wildy from a speeding car and killed a young child...in Marin City.

I did not know that there was a bad area in Marin County. Hmm. Amazing.
I abhor that rap was ever conceived. A “music” that has been responsible for destroying countless lives. Music is supposed to uplift, not destroy.
