I hope the same.

I remember thinking the internecine strife in the ‘12 primaries was pretty bad. But this season has seemed far worse.

Still, I’ll be optimistic that sanity will somehow return as the existential threat of Hillary looms into view.

2000 was quite bad. 2004 was not so bad because Bush was running again.

In 2004 we had McCain, most folks hated his guts.

In 2008 we had Romney, and most folks didn’t care for him either.

So it wasn’t like we had two people to chose from. We’d get set on one and they’d burn out. The pressure didn’t build like this year.

It did in 2000 though. We lost a lot of folks that spring.

Every so often we get this strange dynamic where a group of people get their nose out of joint and they exist.

Then they spend their time on the new site talking about FR all the time. LOL

Very strange...
