Prop to Ferrell. I didn’t expect anyone involved to decide this was a bad idea.
Shouldn’t have needed “outrage” from the family.
Good for him.
A comedy about Alzheimers?
I know more than a few people that will be enraged about this, myself included.
.
I can’t stand Wil Ferrell but I have a modicum of respect for him...an iota of a gram of a modicum respect...now that he has done this.
Seriously, this was a HORRIBLE idea from the start. Farrell should be embarrassed, but I’m sure he is not.
I really love the guy but I consider it an outrage that he considered this project even for one microsecond.
this really change my opinion of him.
He’s still a jackass for even considering it.
I work in a nursing home with a “memory ward”. I’ve had a resistant beg me to kill them. There’s not a damn thing funny about any form of dementia.
Maybe he can instead make a new movie featuring his Elf character suffering from erectile dysfunction.
Good move.
Will Ferrell is the Dick Shawn of this generation. Equally not funny.
Yea, it’s really funny when a loved one slowly loses their ability to function.
I posted this minutes ago, and it seems to have had its effect:
Time and time again, we have seen entertainment industry leftists deliberately push, poke, and slash the outer edges of the envelope of public civility and good taste, in a seemingly mindless effort to somehow profit from the resulting outrage.
They are continuing a tradition of extreme rhetorical distortion that began in the sixties, and continues anachronistically today in the minds and hearts of these leftist inspired, money grubbing, hypocrites who think of themselves as actors, performers, singers, movie producers, etc.
Fraud and bad taste used in this way, should by all rights denigrate and blacken the reputations and future of those perpetrators. The question then and the variable that might end this kind of execrable behavior is the reaction of the intended audience.
Therefore, let us all add this vile persons name to the list of those that sink into oblivion, along with the Dixie Chicks, Ralph Nader, Bill Maher, and other fools. Ignore them and their filth.
In his one-man broadway show, he spent 95 minutes ridiculing W
My grandmother died end stage Alzheimers. I would not wish that fate on my worst enemy.
Good gnus!
This isn’t just an insult to the Reagan family and the memory of Ronald Reagan, but also all those who have Alzheimer’s and their families. It’s no joking matter.
Pansy @$$ liberal sh*thead provoked a bigger firestorm than he realized.
Even the though is repulsive. But the bottom line....It was all about money...wasn’t it Will.
