Nehlen: Paul Ryan’s Counterfeit ‘Contract with America’ Won’t Be Worth Paper It’s Printed On

“Paul Ryan says he’s preparing to release a new ‘Contract with America, but he’s already broken the only contract that matters,” said Paul Nehlen late Wednesday of the 18-year incumbent politician. Nehlen is challenging Ryan in the GOP primary in Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District.

“Let’s be clear. Paul Ryan entered into a contract with his constituents the minute he assumed public office,” Nehlen added. “It’s a contract the people of his district expected him to uphold—a contract that necessarily expanded to include the citizenry of the entire United States when he took the Speaker’s chair. He swore to safeguard our freedoms and, by extension, our opportunities.

“But Paul Ryan has now sold off to the highest bidders in Washington, D.C, every principle that would have allowed him to honor his pledge to uphold the most important agreement in the land, the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution was and is meant to keep the American people from being trampled by their own government. Yet Ryan is now far more interested in growing government and using top-down federal power to ‘communify’ us all.

“When you’ve jettisoned your principles for money and personal power, what have you got left but empty promises and marketing gimmicks? That’s pretty much all anyone should expect to find in Paul Ryan’s new ‘Contract with America.’ For my part, I’m committed to standing by the Constitution. It’s the real deal. “

I’ve tried contacting Paul but don’t know if he really sees it. My point is, Paul Ryan said that omnibus got dumped on him and he had no choice but to pass it.

But Ryan worked hand-in-hand with Boehner as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, from January 3 to October 29, 2015, and, before that, as Chairman of the House Budget Committee from 2011 to 2015.

Nothing got “dropped” on him.

Ryan needs to meet with the Trump people in private to find out what they expect from him and then come out and support Trump!
