We bought a home in the mountains outside of Los Angeles in 1988 and just moved to another state last June. The elementary school down the street from us was almost all white in 1988, but is now almost all Hispanic. And all the mothers have 2 or 3 other younger ones with them.
The Los Angeles School District is almost 90% Hispanic as last reported.
