PING
Interesting and promising. I hope he gets to 1237 on the first ballot, then there won’t be a second one.
The graph does not include the unpledged delegates such as those in Pennsylvania. Ads some of those in and his path is even easier.
Cue Dandy Don.
Don’t know if you saw the movie about the British navy, ‘Master and Commander, the Far Side of the World’ with Russell Crowe as the captain.
But there’s a scene in the movie I thought of that came to mind when I heard Felito chose Snarly to help him re-arrange deck chairs on the HMS Cruz:
A midshipman cannot command any respect from the crew. A seaman bumps him, and is flogged.
The ship is unable to move for days due to lack of wind, and the crew comes to think of the midshipman as an albatross.
It becomes so bad that finally he picks up a cannonball and jumps over the side of the boat to Davy Jones locker.
Fiona= cannonball. Jump, Ted.
The Manafort doctrine ... he will prevail
The poll starts out with Trump having 953 delegates currently. It does not include the additional Pennsylvania delegates Trump picked up today.......
With CNN showing Trump with 52 delegates total in PA:
http://edition.cnn.com/election/primaries/states/pa/Rep
Current delegate count according to them, and I have found them to be fairly accurate is:
Trump: 991
Cruz: 568
Kasich: 154

I expect Trump will go well over the top (probably by 50 or more delegates at this point), on June 7th.
If Cruz is interested in the GOP (without any e) winning in November, then he needs to concede next week after Trump (in all likelihood) takes Indiana.
I pray to God that is what he will do. He has the power to:
1) Unite the party by so doing.
2) Deliver a huge blow to the GOPe by so doing.
3) Set up for a big GOP November win.
