Cruz has not vested time and effort in Indiana to just give it up. He's going to need to see real defeat in that state to even begin to comprehend he needs to bow out of the presidential race, despite that need being right in front of his face here and now:

Ted can sweep IN; but it would mean nothing.

However, Cruz could save face if he drops out now. He could say that he’d said Kasich should get out when mathematically eliminated and now he is. Doubt he will though.
