President Obama and Congress have agreed to fund the permanent resettlement of 10,000 Syrian refugees, but the number of Syrians entering the U.S. over the next three years will end up being much larger. Possibly up to 10 times larger, says one analyst who follows the global refugee movement. And it's all about to be done under the radar of Congress with nearly zero media coverage. Fresh evidence to that effect has come from the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees Filippo Grande and a statement by the U.S. State Department. Together, those statements indicate the U.N. has many more Syrians in store for the U.S. than what Obama has publicly acknowledged.
"Often when they talk about numbers it's a bit opaque,” says Nayla Rush, senior researcher for the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies. "They want to permanently resettle 480,000 (into countries outside of Syria), but that’s not enough. There will be resettlements but then other routes, 'alternative safe pathways,' as stated by the U.N. high commissioner, who is using a new word, 'pathways.' "To me this kind of resembles the 'pathway to citizenship' (made famous by the 2013 Gang of Eight immigration bill), and they're applying that now to refugees."

I’ve never seen anyone consistently abuse the Tanach so egregiously.
Assigning Tanach references to every news story [In Brackets] is wildly arrogant and egotistical. How about letting people who KNOW Tanach decide applicability?
JEWISH Psalm 2, written by a VERY JEWISH DAVID is ONLY about the nations (including the US) coming against the JEWISH God and the JEWISH people and failing to thwart the JEWISH God’s will, regardless of their individual or collective strengths. PERIOD.
A majority opinion believes this Psalm alludes to an encounter between the nations and the JEWISH Mashiach.
Now, for the abuse: Quoting made up “scripture,” inserting a “god” where there is NONE. You dare to do very, very dangerous spiritual deeds.
1. In verse 7, “son” LOWER CASE NOT UPPER as you purposefully misquote, is the JEWISH David (remember to whom God speaks and who is the Psalm author).
2. In verse 12, there is no “Son” either - it is just completely made up, a lie - a lie made up to facilitate something that also doesn’t exist.
Here, for all honest people to see, is the truth:

- CORRECTLY translated into English
- With contextual supporting commentary.
