My daughter was assigned to tutor some Saudi exchange students while she was in college. She was not impressed.

These guys were totally out of control. The ultimate fratboy life of drugs, drinking and sex, and more money to do all of them than you could scarcely imagine. That and they were intellectually and emotionally arrested at around age 13. She could not imagine any of them leading a useful or productive life.

When I was a professor at FIU in Miami I got stuck with 180 Saudi’s for one quarter. They were going to be the Kings private security force. You have to remember that most of them are related. everybody is a cousin. They cheat like you cannot believe. Its part of their culture. They smile at you and then lie like a champ. Again just part of their culture. I asked some of them one day “don’t you think your Mom might like to go out to the mall or a restaurant for dinner?” The answer was “oh no she’s happy at home.”

At least you can have a conversation with the Saudi’s. The worst are the Iranians. The most arrogant unpleasant people I ever ran into. Fortunately I didn’t have to teach any of them.

Here’s what learned at age 28. The Muslims are not like us in any way, shape or fashion. They do not subscribe to the Judeo Christian value system and the sooner you realize and believe it the better off you will be.
