A Washington State couple who abused a young boy, in part, by forcing him to live on a bizarre hot dog smoothie have been handed lengthy prison sentences.
Prosecutors argued in court that Christopher Sefton and Lori Lloyd forced Sefton's 6-year-old son to live on a blended cocktail of hot dogs and cooking oil while physically abusing him and forcing him to work out and restricting his sleep, according to KOMO.
The boy, identified only as K., was reportedly emaciated and feeding himself out of school trash cans when officials finally came to his aid ...

People like that should be sterilized and never allowed to have kids again.
Starving your own kid to death is the work of a monster.
20 years is too light for what they did.
That aside, anyone who would do that to a child should be treated in kind, without the benefit of the trash cans.

rapists, child molesters, ANYONE who hurt a kid...they were completely ostracized.
No reason to score points in JAIL by beating them and turning two weeks into 5 years.
but in PRISON, it’s big points.

The state had many reports of this kid being abused and failed to lift a finger. Those responsible for ignoring the earlier reports should be held publicly accountable.
I would not mind one....
A mom gets harassed for letting her kid walk to the nearest park to play while social services does nothing about really serious cases like this.

Meh, I’m old school. I say “let the punishment fit the crime”. Give them one “hot dog smoothie” a day, make them sleep in a closet they cannot lay down in for no more than 4 hours a day, and force them to do hard labor til they drop.
Oh well, I guess that would be “cruel and unusual” punishment. Just hang ‘em then.
What the hell is WRONG with these animals? I’m sure the prison population will mete out true justice. Maybe they could stick a wick into this fat slob and solve the energy crisis; she’d burn forever.
The comments that usually follow stories such as this (and I see them on here now) are so pathetic. To imagine the suffering and grief this poor child endured is beyond most our comprehension. Only those who have lived inside the death camps, or been a POW, or experienced long term abuse would ever be able to understand what this might be like.
I can only pray that this child be brought to a safe place where he will feel love and security for the rest of his childhood; and that he will someday know the love of a spouse and children. God be with him.
As for the evildoers, I do not think I can even speak words that would ever begin to describe the horrors...so much evil in this world. Come Lord, Jesus.
Poor little tyke. Hope he is able to heal at all levels and be able to overcome this episode.
It would be so much cheaper to shoot the ‘parents’ and feed their bodies to wild dogs...
