Donald Trump currently has at least 846 delegates, according to the NBC News tally, and he can still clear the magic number of 1,237 during the primary season. Doing so would prevent the open convention that Ted Cruz and the Stop Trump movement are banking on. Heres what it would take:

I am PRAYING for it!
Hold on now. They’ll be here any moment.
Chants of 2nd ballot, Lincoln in the mid-1800’s, we’re-not-really-GOPe-but-love-a-brokered-convention, etc.
Oh no..... Look what Beck has to say..... We are sooo doomed!
Glenn Beck Says People Who Vote Against Ted Cruz Will Face Wrath of God
It’s important to remember that 1237 for Trump doesn’t actually prevent the GOP-e from changing the rules at the last moment to have an open convention, but it will make the GOP-e look stupider and more corrupt to an even larger amount of voters.
It is therefore imperative that everyone vote Trump in both the primary and the general. The GOP-e must be humiliated and annihilated, and Trump is the only man who can do this.
Hannity’s guy, if I heard him right, said Trump could get 120 tomorrow.
That seems really low to me but would give him 966.
I’m thinking he cracks 1000 tomorrow.
Easy. He’ll win 200+ tomorrow. He’ll sweep CA and NJ, another 220+. That’s well over what he needs, the rest is gravy.
If Trump has the required 1237 at the convention and the GOPe leaders change the rules on this, that will be the end of the convention...Chaos will ensue....
Self correction, only 100+ tomorrow. CA and NJ he’ll sweep. Still that puts him over close to 1200. He’ll easily pick up what he needs from OR, WA, WV and MT. And likely he’ll win IN.
He has to get it before the convention or The Cheap Labor Express will get the amnesty candidate they paid for.
The most surprising thing about this whole campaign has been that my first choice, Ted Cruz, has become one of their stooges
“If Trump has the required 1237 at the convention and the GOPe leaders change the rules on this, that will be the end of the convention...Chaos will ensue....”
If they do that, it will also be the end of the Republican party, as we know it, and Hillary will be elected president for life, with the right to appoint her successor, when she chooses.
Fine ... He didn't hit the 1250 the gope establishes at the last moment, but the Trump party has already established 1237 IS the goal and he has 1238 ...
President Trump
If Trump is not the nominee, Hillary will be elected anyway...
The GOPe has no one to beat her...Trump is the only that will do it...
The GOP is on shaky ground anyway because of their capitulation with the socialist democrats for the past 25 years anyway...
I think he will do very well, but not 200+ because there aren’t that many delegates up for grabs tomorrow. I just did a quick count and there seem to be only 118 bound plus 54 unbound.
Lol
Yeah, I self corrected.
Dude, you need to know the facts.
There’s only 118 on the line tomorrow, excluding the 54 PA uncommitted.
And CA is not necessarily winner take all. It has 53 districts with 3 votes each, plus 13 at-large delegates.
Those who vote Cruz will have to stare at the Face of God! Heidi said so.
I've been trying to piece this together in my mind. What happened to Cruz rivals any Shakespearean tragedy.
When he first announced, he asked us for small donations, a lot of them (like what Sanders has succeeded with) because he wanted an independent campaign. Then he had a few PACS, and we were told "Don't worry; these are good guys. They're friends who don't want to control Cruz". Next Cruz got more PAC support, he more closely aligned with Beck, he no longer looked independent, not at all. Then he very cynically went from drafting off Trump and being his ally to totally backstabbing him. Next move.....Neil Bush on his campaign staff.
Where does that leave him? A destroyed, overly ambitious egotist. He's so wrapped up in his own worth, he no longer sees anything wrong with his "strategies". I wonder if he's become a threat to himself and others.
Too cynical?
I already corrected my first post twice. You might want to read all the posts first. As for CA, Trump is up in the last two polls 18% and 27%. He’ll sweep every district here.
