Cruz is honestly torpedoing his entire career at this point.

Forget the nomination .. I don’t even want him as my Senator anymore.

The feeling is mutual for your Senator...he doesn’t want to be your Senator anymore...perhaps didn’t want to be at all. Just a stepping stone to this...just like Little Marco.

I don’t want him, either. You’ll get my vote if you run.

Yes, he most certainly is. The next time he runs for political office, his challenger will destroy him based on the crooked politics he's displayed in this campaign.

This guy's lack of judgement and planning is monumental. He's so mentally immature he does not realize actions have consequences, and his consequences are destroying his career. He will be shunned and ostracized by his peers and Harvard will not give him credence.

However, he might do well with ambulance-chasing law firms advertising on late night tv.

“Cruz is honestly torpedoing his entire career at this point”

Possibly he already did.

He did himself so much damage I’m not sure he can hurt himself anymore by staying. I think all he does now is allow people to laugh at him for his stupidity.

I don’t want him as my Senator either. We need to find a good candidate to primary the little weasel next election.

Exactly.

He has a promising political career as a senator and could have been President someday. All he had to do was run a good, honest, upright, Christian campaign and let the chips fall where they may. If he lost, he would have lost no political credibility. People would have liked him, and heck, Trump might have picked him for VP. Trump really liked him before he turned into attackTED. If not, he could have continued his work as a senator and ran again.

Why is he acting like this is his only shot? He’s still a young man politically speaking. He could run again in 4 (I hope not) or 8 years. He’s only in his mid 40s. He’s acting like he’s anointed for this (although Beck and his father seem to think so), and it has to be this year. Well, it likely won’t be this year, and he’s destroying a promising political career in the process.

Cruz became political cancer a little after Iowa.

I think he knows this, is playing his role in exchange for an insider position. Or for money and a big job at a Goldman Sachs type company.

Cruz’s support base here in North Texas is right up there with Hillary’s and both are moving in the wrong direction.

I don’t want him on the USSC anymore. He’d be another Roberts.
