Could be more of a message to McConnell for saying, ‘give us the Senate and we will show we can lead’.

McConnell has proved he can’t.

The Republican majority is even more feckless than the Republican minority.

Here's what I got from Kelly Ayotte this morning:

"Friday morning I joined university officials, law enforcement and survivor advocates for a roundtable on campus sexual assault legislation at Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in Manchester. They provided valuable insight about a bipartisan bill I helped introduce, called the Campus Accountability and Safety Act (CASA) that builds on Title IX to ensure that these crimes are properly investigated and increases transparency on campuses in New Hampshire and across the country. The sad reality is that sexual assaults are an underreported crime, and that is due in large part to the fact that survivors don't believe they will receive the support they need to come forward. CASA addresses this issue by partnering survivors of sexual assault with a confidential advisor to help ensure they have the support they need when they come forward. I am working with my colleagues to get CASA through the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee and onto the floor so we can take action to address this issue."

Notice the use of the term "survivors of sexual assault", a completely fictitious feminist neologism which includes crime victims (rapist convicted), people who are confused about recent events in their lives, liars, fabulists, and the mentally ill.

It's fortunate for the Republican Majority™ that Ayotte is running against Maggie Hassan, but if she wins, she's going to do it without my support.

Trump is the least of their problems. If the GOP loses the senate its their own fault. They have done nothing to represent their voting base.

As odious as some of these gopers are, they are better than the Elizabeth Warren clones that would replace them.

The best way to get rid of them is to primary them, like they’re doing to mccaine, ryan, etc.

If the dems get the senate, Chuck Schumer is the majority leader. Then what does president Trump get accomplished?

Seib’s analysis is flawed because it only considers Trump’s negatives on a stand alone basis. When comparing his negatives, one on one, with the goblin queen’s he is only slightly behind.

I heard on John Batchelor the other night that Trump only needs to gain 6 points, in the head to head popularity poll against the witch, to gain the lead.

I believe once he disposes of his spoiler opponents he will gain far more than 6 points.
