The problem is these Cruz delegates were sent forward from their counties all over the country, to the state conventions.

There were few to none TRUMP supporters who bothered with attending their precinct meeting, which sends them as delegates to county conventions, which sends them on to state conventions, where they hope to be elected to the National Convention as a delegate.

Voters have learned that their is much more to coughing up your ballot on primary day and returning to the golf course or the mall by late afternoon.

We have to participate, or those who do will hand us our head.

THAT is what is going on.

Based on Trump’s statements ten months ago about whether the RNC was going to be “fair”, I really don’t think any of this came as a surprise to him. He realized from the beginning that an “outsider” stood no chance if they relied on delegate shenanigans.

He said from the beginning that he would need to get enough bound delegates to win on the first vote, because the people chosen as delegates are usually the long-time veteran campaign volunteers whose loyalty would be to the establishment. It doesn’t matter who the delegates are if he has more than 1237 bound on the first vote, whether they love Trump or hate him, they are BOUND.

Trump is harping on this not to benefit this current campaign — because he knew second-round voting was a losing strategy for an outsider — but to force changes in the Primary and Convention process to make it easier for future outsiders. He loves watching Cruz dig his hole deeper and feed the “rigged” meme. He could not have anticipated that Cruz would play so dirty, making agreements and backstabbing, but he has capitalized on it.

Ted Cruz is a public relations neophyte compared to Trump. He walked into Trump’s trap, setting himself at odds with the voters and thinking people would applaud his lawyer weaseling.

No, what’s going on is voter nullification. The people vote their choice and then the politicos STEAL the peoples votes and replace them with their own.

“But it’s “the rules”.

Well, if so, “the people” were unaware of the dirty, lyin, cheatin rules.

This process is underhanded at best. “Rigged” as some say.
If these are the rules....THE RULES SUCK!
SUCK the crooked rules and the lyin, cheatin, sleazy, slimy, phony guy that uses them because he can’t win at the ballot box. The voters REJECT him and he crawls (slithers) in the back door, (snot, running down his nose) picking off delegates using archaic, smokey back room deal, rules.

THIS? is the person you want for your president?

Although you are right, the whole system smacks of cheating to me, legal or not.

The will of the voters are bypassed. That is just wrong.
