I agree with all of the comments stating that it was not smart.
However, Texas law is much more lenient towards the “hero” type than any other state. Whether they will charge him or not, I have no idea.
He should be charged just to discourage other John Wayne wannabe’s. This sort of stuff does not do us any favors in the fight against the gun grabbers.
One of their main points is that some rambo type like this guy will shoot an innocent.
We like John Wayne in Texas. There will be no charges filed against this would-be Good Samaritan. That’s the way we like it, uh-huh.
