Chelsea Clinton wants voters to know the death of Justice Scalia represents a real opportunity for her mother to change America’s gun laws.
“It matters to me that my mom also recognizes the role the Supreme Court has when it comes to gun control,” Chelsea said at an appearance in Maryland Thursday. “With Justice Scalia on the bench one of the few areas where the Court actually had an inconsistent record relates to gun control,” she added.
“Sometimes the court upheld local and state gun control measures as being compliant with the second amendment and sometimes the court struck them down. So if you listen to Moms Demand Action and the Brady Campaign and major efforts pushing for smart, sensible and enforceable gun control across our country–which in disclosure have endorsed my mom–they say they believe the next time the court rules on gun control it will make a definitive ruling.
“So it matters to me that my mom is the only person running for president who not only constantly makes that connection but also has a strong record on gun control and standing up to the NRA,” Chelsea added.
She also said that her personal concern about gun control has increased since having a child, saying of the families of victims of the Sandy Hook elementary school shooting, “I can’t even imagine that living horror and tragedy.”

Note that this is occurring at the same time her corrupt cohort governor of Virginia is restoring “full” citizenship right to Virginia felons in order to get them on the voter roles. Have they considered what that means with respect to those same felons now being able to possess firearms? But, then again a rational liberal is an oxymoron.

Come to find out that millenials, especially women, love them some guns. This issue, presented correctly (”Hillary wants open borders that will allow criminals in your neighborhood and she also doesn’t want you to have a gun to protect yourself from them.”) could peel off a few percent of the youth and help tip a few purple states red.

Voting rights, yes, serve on a jury, yes, gun rights, no.
