I thought that being a proctologist in San Francisco was the worst job in America.

It takes talent to distort the truth to make it newsworthy.

I really enjoyed my morning newspaper.

It kept getting smaller, more expensive and more Democrat.

The American Press is more concerned with convincing the public instead of informing the public.

A station here had both of their morning news anchors leave to become investment advisors.

Worst job in America?

I doubt that. Ask these snow flakes what they would rather do...be a newspaper reporter or a deck hand on a crab fishing boat in Alaska.

Plus, I'm sure Mike Rowe could come up with a few other jobs that would make newspaper reporter look real good.

The photograph that accompanies this story shows a young woman with a mike standing in front of a TV camera, yet the story is about newspaper reporters.

A lousy job of reporting.

Based on my few experiences with journalists the wave of Schadenfreude is strong. There wasn’t a single time when what I said wasn’t distorted and s#!+ I hadn’t said inserted. And this is after the bastards made a point of recording the interview. F ‘em.

Last year's worst job 'Media Whore' was replaced by this year's worst job 'Assistant Media Whore'.

(with apologies to Norm MacDonald)

Maybe it would be a better job if they actually reported instated of disseminating propaganda.

Yet these hacks still strut around like they're the envy of the ball.

I would encourage a young person to become a 10-buck-a-throw prostitute at the nearest truck stop before I'd advise them to become a journalist.

From the title, I wondered whether the article was saying that reporters do worst at their job compared to other people, or if the job itself is worst in comparison to other jobs.
After reading the excerpt I know the gist of the article, but I still think the former is more true.

I stopped reading the newspaper many years not just because of bad reporting but also because of extremely poor grammar. I do not proclaim to be an English teacher but the local newspapers were extremely difficult to read. There were so many errors that I simply could not follow what they were trying to say. If they can’t even bother to learn to write at a grammar school level then we can forget asking them to show any integrity in their articles.

I read an article online that 6% of the population still trusts the media. I couldn’t believe it was that high. Who in their right might could trust anything the media says nowadays. I think that this was a rigged poll.

The media jobs once coveted are now scorned...they did it to themselves with their constant and blatant partisanship, manipulation of the truth and arrogant bias.....
