Yeah how dare that happen as the result of actual votes, right?

Yes unlike Colorado and Wyoming where nobody voted and Cruz got 100% of the delegates.

It will be instructive to listen to the excuses of the stormtrumpers after he is thoroughly stomped by the loathesome Hillary.

As it should be, the candidate with the most votes wins, because the best candidate for the general election is the one who has captured the majority of the base voters in the party, and it does away with this contested convention nonsense.

You make dictators sound noble. 51% and win all is better than Zero votes and win all. Its how democracy work. You get 51%, you get laws passed. Cruz wants a system where you get zero votes and still win all

Yeah, it is so unfair that the people choose the candidate rather than the GOP gatekeepers.

Pray America wakes

Ted got 15%.

It should be clear to everyone that Ted would do horrible in swing states — FL, OH, MI, PA, etc. Ted is Hillary’s easiest path to victory.

Rigged!
Ted’s delegates can switch to Trump on the second or third ballot
Maybe even on the first ballot!

That is based simply on the proportional versus winner-take-all decisions by individual states, but they are the result of millions of voters casting their ballots.

That is not what the meaning of the word ‘rigged’ is driving at. A ‘rigged’ process would be one in which a system is in place that permits a pre-determined outcome to take place at the behest of a cabal of brokers.

For example, it is obvious to me that the democratic primary is rigged, even though it is by the rules that there are about 600 super-delegates. The system in place permits a pre-determined outcome to take place at the behest of a cabal of brokers.

Is there such a system in place in the Republican Party?

In a football game, if a team scores a winning touchdown with a huge reception at the buzzer, and the referees can confer and say that they have created a new rule that says touchdowns in the last 5 seconds of a game are disallowed if the scoring team scores through the air instead of on the ground, then all hell would break loose. “It’s rigged” we’d say, “if last second rules can be made.”

But what if they said the receiver was out of bounds when he really wasn’t, or what if they said the ball hadn’t crossed the plane of the goal when it really had? The rules say that it’s the referee’s call, so that settles it.

Can that be a rigged result? Sure.

Some kind of manipulation of rules can be seen as rigged, EVEN THOUGH the rules really were in place.

So, have rules been manipulated beyond their INTENT?

Or, are rules in place that enable the results to be manipulated?

It remains to be seen.

RIGGED! : Idiotic Cruz taking point.

Trump won 26 of 27 districts, getting all the delegates from each district he won. And since he got more than 50% of the votes statewide, he won the 14 at-large delegates.

Some states do winner-takes-all, would you call that rigged too?

When it comes to the fall election, are you going to call the Electoral College a rigging scheme to, as each state is winner-takes-all?

Or did I miss an implied sarcasm tag?
