The memorial in Oklahoma City is absolutely amazing. If you are ever anywhere close to OKC, it is a must see.

McVeigh was a bit player and fall guy. Nichols met with Ramzi Yousef in The Philippines to plan the bombing - the exact bomb that Yousef set in the first World Trade Center bombing.
Every American should read Jayna Davis’ book, The Third Terrorist. Then read McVeigh’s lawyer’s book.
The FBI had infiltrated Elohim City, McVeigh’s training compound and could have stopped the bombing at any time. After the bombing, witnesses who could have pointed the finger at the FBI started getting “heart attacked”. Years later, George Stephanopolis wrote in his book that when this happened, Bill Clinton was so excited he nearly pissed his pants, telling George that this was going to be the thing that would revive his totally flailing presidency. He had had his ass handed to him in the 1994 midterm election a few months before, and many were starting to realize what a horrible president Clinton was.
George reported that Clinton beamingly said that he would now become America’s father figure and let us Americans know that he wouldn’t allow these crazy right-wing nut jobs to do anything like that again. As I recall, George was instructed to make sure the message went far and wide. Rush Limbaugh was to be made the face of such terrible acts.
It was this evil, national tragedy that many say relaunched Clinton—much to his joy—and put him back in the driver’s seat. It’s perfectly Clintonic... Evil was the impetus that Clinton needed to start breathing again politically.
He is the vilest politician this country has ever had to face, along with his wicked so-called wife.
(The kicker was that George reported this act and the president’s glee in the most glowing, blow-jobbing terms that a man could muster, not a trace of shame or even surprise that a US president could be so depraved.)
