A great, book-length analysis of the Supreme Court decision they're discussing at this hearing: The Deporter

A new one arrested yesterday in Omaha, NE. Fatal hit-and-run over the weekend. The criminal is an illegal from Honduras, this was his 4th DUI. The victim was likely also illegal. At least this time ICE seems to be interested, not like the Sarah Root case in January.

Yep, the Bush administration was just as bad as Obama when it came to enforcing our immigration laws. Bush 41 and 43 were a disaster as far as immigration enforcement was concerned. And Bush 41 doubled the cap on the number of legal permanent immigrants we allow in, which is now 1.1 million a year.

The CYA mentality that animates this administration is infuriating. Morton, Jeh Johnson, Perez, Napolitano, Holder, and the lot would be in the dock in a just world.

It's been largely forgotten, but the Immigration Act of 1990 was a complete and utter disaster.

The names on the Stolen Lives Quilt would exceed the list of victims of the 9/11 massacre.

Exactly. Almost as bad as the 1965 Immigration Act that changed the demography of this country forever. And mass immigration will make the Dems the permanent majority party. They are very close now. Without changes to our current immigration policies, it is a foregone conclusion.

Only Trump wants to decrease legal immigration. Cruz in his position paper vows not to increase legal immigration. The status quo will kill this country if it hasn't already.

It is estimated that 50,000 Americans have been killed by criminal aliens since 9/11. The GAO report I linked to lists 25,000 criminal aliens who have been charged with homicide in our jails.

Until the start of this campaign, particularly after being pressed by Trump, Cruz was very bad on legal immigration, per Numbers USA.
