Thanks Ted for your defense of conservative constitutional values.

Yep, that is why Cruz has a ten billion dollar empire and flies about the country in his own jet financing his own campaign.

The only thing Cruz has ever done is work for government, except for a few months in Houston where he defended government hacks.

Yes and he worked as Texas solicitor general winning 5 supreme court cases for conservative values that protect you and every other person on FR dumping absurd animus on him.

Cruz actually co-authored a WSJ article advocating for more power to Obama through TPA:

Ted Cruz joins the establishment

Has Cruz ever said anything about impeaching Obama?

He offered 76 reasons for impeachment

Furthermore, as in many things, he discusses things in a Constitutionally-minded logical adult non-populist way. Speaking as a Senator, notes that the house is responsible for impeachment, and if they do their duty, he would do his to render judgement in the Senate.

MALZBERG: Would you urge them to consider it?

CRUZ: You know, any impeachment would have to be tried in the United States Senate, so my responsibility would be to render judgment. I would not want to urge the House to do anything other than exercise its best judgment, and I would endeavor to the same on my end.

He most likely had to take those positions given the nature of the Texas political scene at the time

He could not decide which side to take. Yes he did a good job.

He is an excellent lawyer. But he would do just as good a job taking the other side.

Do not extend pure motives to him when not clearly deserved.

You guys already yell at him for closing down the gov’t—why should he even try to impeach OBummer if he would get no support. That !@#$ Roberts better come thru for us.

Who is "you guys"?

I ask because I can't think of any Cruz or Trump supporter who has complained about Cruz "shutting down the government". I was a DOD Civilian at the time and was 'laid off" for a bit and still supported his efforts even when it looked like I would be losing a bit more money than I ended up losing.

Then he wiggles out of it in a Constitutionally-minded logical adult wimpy way.

His behavior in the US senate completely obliterates that idea.

His behavior in Texas and in the Senate are perfectly conservative and consistent.

His college professors like Dershowitz say the same thing for when he was a student.

He is the most consistent person running

False.

He won 5 supreme Court cases.

He shut down the Federal government in 2013.

He opposed ethanol subsidies in Iowa and won.

He is currently second in a field of formerly 16 candidates running for the RNC nominee.

Trump supporters think if they repeat something enough it will make it true.

Notice they are not putting in a lot of time criticizing Hillary— that is because in the words of their leader — ‘ she would make a good president’
