The only "ground game" Cruz has is because the GOPe is hustling for him. They're the ones giving Cruz the inside track to the delegate shares he is picking up, it's the Romney strategy to try to deny Trump the nomination, and Romney, the Bush family, and the open borders lobby are giving him what he needs.
If Cruz actually had a really good ground game, he would have been winning states hand over fist when they, you know, actually vote in states. Go ahead, explain why he can't win most states that actually vote. I will await your fanciful retort.
