Some of us older conservatives grew up in catholic families and raised democrat. I learned to love my country and value conservative principles through the school of hard knocks and personal experience, not party loyalty. But even today I would vote for a Democrat if I though he would be better for our country because I put the country I served for 22 years FIRST. I am not a robot blindly following a party. The dem/rep parties can f**k themselves, I vote for the person I believe is better to serve America.
FWIW both those who are supporting Cruz and those who are supporting Trump believe the same thing. But the vitriol in this campaign is unmatched in any campaign I have witnessed.
I know who started it. I'm not voting for him.
That is how I feel now. I want a president who loves this country and wants her and her people to succeed. I do not care if there is an R or a D after their name, what color they are or what gender. America comes first.
