Wyoming is a great state with some wonderful people. How can you say that 99.87% of them have no interest in voting for a president. That’s around 269,000 registered republicans. They all just don’t care?

Well they didn't seem to care… to vote for Trump. They could have flooded the precinct caucuses then the subsequent level conventions. They had the same chances as the Cruz, Rubio, etc. forces at the time of the precinct voting. But they didn't care enough. We know they weren't banned because Trump managed to win one delegate in the first round. Maybe he's now so disgusted he'll burn his 'delegate card' and let some party alternate take his place.

That all sounds fair. But here’s the reality, the slate of delegates from these types of states are mainly quadrennial delegates. Newcomers do not displace long term delegates.

1) Wyoming prefers to limit their participation

2) They changed rules to narrow the selectors by 55%

3) The delegates were likely pre-slated for Jeb!

4) They will not detract from their duty to support GOPe.

5) They are placeholders for GOPe in Cruz-name-only.

6) They will vote for whomever the GOPe likes in Cleveland
