CHEYENNE, Wyo. Its a Ted Cruz sweep in Wyoming.
Cruz won 14 of 14 Republican National Convention delegates up for grabs at the Wyoming state convention here Saturday.
The crowd here was clearly in Cruzs corner, as the Texas senator was the only candidate to make the trip to Casper ahead of a major snowstorm and Sarah Palin, scheduled to speak for Trump, previously canceled.

2,114 committeemen chose delegates in 2012.
903 committeemen chose delegates in 2016
They reduced the pesky voters by another 55%
Way to go Wyoming GOPe.!
Thats a whopping .03% of your voters
In 2020 we expect 400 voters.
In 2024 you'll be gone for good!
The Wyoming plan is much like Colorados. Registered Republicans with lots of time and $ to follow each step of the lengthy process. They are more likely to be activists within the state party than general republicans interested in the presidential race. That has an impact on turnout and eventually the outcome of the delegate selection process. This grants the state party much more control over the process.
By having only approved committee vote for the delegates, the party is ensured their choice as opposed to the popular vote.
State parties chang their rules to exclude voters: The last polling (summer) in had Jeb Bush leading. Bush-Cheney-> Wyoming! ... Realizing they nearly lost 2012 to Rick, they decided to play a much different game for 2016.

This is going to provide a huge amount of momentum going into the New York Primary on Tuesday...I can feel it! /sarc
@mitchellvii I live in WY. Our county caucus was changed from 3/1 to 2/27 -> only county officials knew. Rigged here from the start.— Unfiltered Steve (@stevelasereyes) April 16, 2016
CRUZ CELEBRATES ANOTHER VOTERLESS VICTORY! https://t.co/PDo3aIRvni— DRUDGE REPORT (@DRUDGE_REPORT) April 16, 2016
“Celebrating another Fraud Show”
“What happened to Principles”
Oh Canada!
Ted Cruz is a first class scumbag!
Wyoming. 3 electoral votes, and the entire state has about 22% of the population of Queens NY. A Dick Cheney place. Voting not required. lol
There will be a real contest on Tuesday, where (unlike Wyoming and Colorado) actual citizens of the state will be allowed to vote.
And of course Cruz will get crushed.
If the GOPe is simply going to GIVE Cruz delegates without holding a vote, wouldn't it be cheaper to "make a rule" to just end voting?
The GOP is clearly a club, and we are not in it.
Will this bother Rush Limbaugh? NOPE! Rush saves his outrage for really important stuff like Mr. Haney having mic problems in New York. Screw Mr. Haney, and Screw Rush Limbaugh!
It’s the new Voterless Victory!
Got to hand it to him, his wins fit in a thimble.
Celebration Party of !.
I have to say it (again)...
Trump has a very bad advisor, campaign manager...
to skip a state, especially when he needs delegates!????
his having Palin scheduled to visit there for him... well, not as good as just dropping by yourself... but OK that would have been a high-profile representative, one that would have drawn voter interest and some support for sure
but then she canceled too
sorry, Trumpsters, but Donald needs better advice (he really should realize on his own... that people feel insulted or slighted when you won’t even land your damned jet and say hello to them)
It WILL provide momentum—for Trump.
The more Cruz “wins” these Bush Crime Family charades, the better for Trump.
Who they vote for in the "caucus" is meaningless. It will be Trump, not Cruz, who will be on the November ballot this November.
Oh brother....Cruz is calling this a grassroots win.
Colorado part 2?
