This occurred during the first reign of Jerry Brown as governor. He did not go to the funeral but rather went to one being held for a United Farm Workers member.

I actually remember this horrid case and this worthless scumbag but not his name.

I seem to recall that his family, (his mother) tried to portray him as a wonderful “young man.” Aren’t they all?

Too bad he died of natural causes, but I’m glad he’s dead.

Death penalty was overturned by the liberal Rose Bird California Supreme Court. Rose Bird was later recalled by California voters

Opinion of the Court:

We find no prejudicial error in the guilt phase of appellant’s trial and will therefore affirm the convictions, as well as the allegations and special circumstances found true by the jury. Similarly, we will reject all but one of appellant’s challenges to the penalty phase, including his several attacks on the constitutionality of the 1978 death penalty law. We will conclude, however, that in deciding the automatic application for modification of the death verdict (§ 190.4, subd. (e)), the trial judge failed to make an independent determination whether the death penalty was proper under the law and evidence, as the statute requires. We will therefore vacate the penalty judgment and remand to the trial court solely for a reconsideration of the modification application under the principles set forth in this opinion.

Yet, Police Unions have been supporting DemocRATS like Brown for decades.

Every election year we start getting inundated with telemarketing calls and junk mail from organizations called Police Action League and California Organization of Police and Sheriffs asking for donations for all kinds of "outreach" programs they provide for little chilluns an' whatnot.

I'm pretty sure those groups are nothing more than covert fundraising operations for 'RAT politicians and Union thugs.

The murdering scumbag should have died in 1978, not 2016.
