Others feel that it's high time (pun intended) to call for an emergency election to determine who Colorado would actually nominate for the Republican party presidential nominee. This could be a viable solution since with plenty of time left before the convention. Perhaps if Colorado imposed a one day surcharge tax for their upcoming 4/20 marijuana pilgrimage, they could afford a fair, yet hazy election. And the herb-taxed-folks would be to buzzed to know the difference.

Colorado's largest voting bloc are Independents at 1,175,000. They are about evenly split between Republicans and Democrats just under 1 million voters each.
After this caucus charade, the GOP may have totally sabotaged the odds of a Colorado Republican win. Regardless of who emerges as the nominee the negativity may stick. It will be interesting to see if the events will repel the Colorado Independent voters from the party and if traditional Republican voters react en masse in a retaliatory fashion.
Cruz stole from the People.
Cruz helped ObamaTRADE.
Cruz lied about Dr. Carson.
Cruz lied about Mr. Trump.
Cruz hides behind Fiorina’s panties acting as his “wife”.
Cruz is lower than pond scum.
I still think that if the CO GOP hadn’t sent out their “we did it!! #nevertrump” tweet, left some Trump delegates off the ballot, and didn’t let one of their insider groups circulate a resolution barring people from supporting Trump, all this would have just blown over as “politics as usual,” but with all that has gone on, it looks really sleazy.
Oh, goody. Trump supporters emulating the BLM movement.
Stupid voters. Don’t they know that they are entitled to vote for whom their betters tell them to vote for? /SARC
Hey, NOOB, I wonder how many of these protestors bothered to show up and actually vote at their local precinct meeting on March 1st that started the delegate selection process? ANY REGISTERED REPUBLICAN RESIDENT OF COLORADO WAS ELIGIBLE TO DO THAT — if they wanted to do that.
There WAS a vote, NOOB.
If Cruz were the principled conservative he claims, he would distance himself from the CO debacle and call for a redo.
As it is, he seems to be happy to take the result. This shows him to be a “win at any cost” sleaze ball, and is likely to cost him delegates in the long run. Actually, I think polls are already showing him slipping... Kasich is ahead of him in some polls now.
Whatever. Only one candidate has come out for the people on this election cycle.
Just a portion of the protest in CO.
Some of the protestors were chanting, “Elections not Selections”...
So they can bother to rally but couldn’t bother to attend the caucuses.
Uh huh, sure they did.
“Erin Behrens has stated that Trump supporters walked out of her March 1 precinct caucus site in frustration when they were informed by the precinct captain that there was no official straw poll.”
So rather than stay and vote for a Trumo delegate, they just left...
Not buying it.
Unbelievable. These people are as clueless on the Constitution and their Government structure as Bernie supporters. They should join forces as the are two of a kind.
I mourn for our Country where Government was a required class to graduate both college and high school. We are truly done.
Nothing was manipulated in Colorado. Trump didn’t even campaign there. He didn’t lose because the system was rigged, he lost because he didn’t try to win.
Thank you for compiling this.
