Kasich is doing the same thing Cruz is doing;
trying to keep Trump from getting the nomination.

I think he is trying to keep his campaign going until the GOP convention, hoping to get the nomination there, as the only non-Trump and non-Cruz candidate.

He has the notion that both camps would find him acceptable.

I personally think he is delusional.

“Kasich is doing the same thing Cruz is doing;

Isn’t it wonderful just how our policticans have devolved into POS’s who, when they can’t come up with a rationale for their own candidacy, launch into all the lies and deceptive comments about their competitiors! “Well if I can’t convince the voters that I’m the best candidate, I’ll just talk trash about everyone else!”
JUST WONDERFUL, NOT!
I can tell Lyin’ Ted and K-sick, if either of them were in MY rear view mirror and I had the car in reverse, I’d have no compunction about standing on the gas!

I think you are right with the first line.
He is acceptable to The Cheap Labor Express and that’s what counts.
He may not be as delusional as he appears.

Cruz on Kasich ten days ago saying Kasich should leave the race because he doesn't have a path because he is "at this point" "mathematically eliminated" from getting 1,237.

Cruz quoted here in the Boston Herald:

"Cruz said in an interview Tuesday on WTMJ radio in Milwaukee that any candidate who doesn't have a path to winning should end their campaign.

"At this point," he said, "Kasich has been mathematically eliminated." "

Well Teddy, are you going to leave your presidential campaign when you are mathematically eliminated, which is going to happen this month?

“both camps would find him acceptable’

It’s the GOPe that would find him acceptable.

I think that Kasich thinks, and the GOPe may have told him, that he would be an acceptable alternative to either of the two front-runners.

But I doubt it is correct.

"Cruz said in an interview Tuesday on WTMJ radio in Milwaukee that any candidate who doesn't have a path to winning should end their campaign.

So why hasn't Cruz ended his campaign already?

Does he really think he won over any voters with his slimy antics in CO?

My conspiracy theory is that he's doing exactly what Trump wants him to be doing.

Trump hasn't hit Kasich particularly hard, and Kasich has reciprocated. Kasich has campaigned against Cruz for the most part.

I still say thay'll be the ticket. I think Trump has Florida, but Kasich will just about guarantee Ohio.

We don't think much of him, but he has very good approval numbers in Ohio, and he won the governorship in a landslide.

He has Washington experience, which Trump has said he wants in a VP. The executive experience is a bonus.

Right now Kasich is the guy for Republicans who can’t bring themselves to support either Trump or Cruz. Voting for Kasich relieves them of the burden of having to choose between two men they find distasteful.

So now these RINOs know how hard the rest of us had to swallow for their two RINO losers in 2008 and 2012.

A few words come to mind about Cruz. Cruz is living up to his nickname that is going to stick with him for life.
