Milwaukee police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred inside the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino early Friday morning, April 15th. We're told it happened on the gaming floor around 2:30 a.m.

According to police, a 38-year-old male suspect retrieved a handgun from his pocket and fired several gunshots inside the Potawatomi Casino. This caused several patrons of the casino to flee from the immediate area. While doing so, several people fell and received minor injuries.

"... several people fell and received minor injuries." But the header said no injuries. Since they occured as a result of the shooting, shouldn't they be classified as firearm related? After all, that's how "they" think.

And if any of them had a drink that day it could also be “alcohol related”. A two-fer.

My Mom fell one time with a brand new bottle of wine in her hand and sustained a gruesome cut across the palm of her hand. Yup, alcohol related. Even though she hadn’t had a drink. LOL!

LOL! Hmmmm. Maybe. It was in Mil-wacky but maybe on Indian/Native American property? Maybe they should declare it a gun free zone.

I believe most casinos have signs up saying no guns allowed on premises. Common sense move on their part given high money volume and pissed off drunk people ratio.

anyone at a casino at that time of night know what kind of people are there....pimps, whores, druggies, and alcoholics but mostly people that are young and do not work at all....

they sit there rocking back and forth pounding on their machine to make them hit.. I suspect a lot of meth addicts....

I'm not one of those but when we've stayed in Vegas one is usually up late...

First time I visited Las Vegas was in 1980. It was sleazy but still had some class. Not 1960’s suits and ties class, but it still felt like it was an adult place. Now it’s as if Walmart married Disneyland and birthed a slow learner child.

Lol, you described it quite accurately.

I used to go there in the early 80’s and it was fine.
Was there again about 10 years ago and wow, it’s disgusting!
