Anyone can be charged with a crime. But that pesky “innocent until proven guilty” thing keeps getting in the way.
Sure, the legal system worked as its supposed to in this case.
I have observed on this forum, over the years, that with too many supposedly conservative Freepers, that innocent until proven guilty is an entirely foreign concept. Sad.
