When I was pregnant, the only thing that I was able to keep down for a good 2 months was the Campbell’s Steak and Potato soup.
Hard to ignore and not lament the low grade swill that gets posted. I have asked for Tabloid Forum where all such could go and I could block it from appearing.
99 cans of Chunky on the wall, 99 cans of Chunky:
You take one down, and eat it and frown, 98 cans of Chunky on the wall...
And remember, when you outta slits, you’re outta pier.
(I truly long for the days when we actually discussed worthwhile topics on FR.)
Every couple has settling in issues but this is usually a sign of ‘controlling’
If all you Cruz fans get together and buy 100 cans of soup as a show of solidarity let me know prior....I got stock to buy and not the soup kind either!
Have noticed a double chin appearing in recent untouched photos. Haven’t you, too, noticed that slight change? Next he’ll be buying new jeans as those he wears now are getting a bit tight. A GOPe living high on the hog. Shows eventually.
Wonder what happened with the frozen strawberries?
Low Grade Swill?
Nah I like Chunky Soup....course not a hundred cans worth but I like it.
Glenn Beck convinced him he should have a year’s supply of food in his basement.
No, more like normal people not a trust fund baby who has never wanted for anything...
I know a guy whose brother is an exec with Campbells’ Soup.
Two worst things about the job according to him:
1) He is forced to commute into Camden, NJ for work every day.
2) The Federal Government never gets off their back about reducing the level of sodium in their soups. When they cave and comply consumers bombard them with hate mail about the crappy taste. A no-win situation.
some honesty among liars.
LOL.....double-chin....gotta get some lipo.
And he does need better-fitting jeans...he and his wife are both fashion victims.
EXACTLY what was going through my mind, when I read this (and the comments)...
What happened to the American mind, that anyone buying 100 cans of soup would push ANYONE into the hyperventilating, hand-flapping tizzy that this article suggests?
I've bought 60-80 cans of sweet corn, before; should I be interviewed on CNN or "Newser" as a potential spectacle? Some people really, REALLY need to get a grip...
Absolutely! and I hoard it, too. Have tried many times to make it from scratch, but can never get it quite the same.
(Wasn’t there some info in recent disclosures that soup is Cruz’ favorite food?)

Should be in the Prepper forum.
May I second that request?!
What I do now is make my own soup from scratch. Typically I'll boil up a chicken or turkey carcass, remove the meat and discard the bones. Then I'll simmer for a few hours after which time I'll add in onions, garlic, mushrooms and lots of celery. Maybe a carrot or two. All this stuff I chop up myself with my butcher knife. Then I'll add the meat back in at the end (if you put it back in too early, it gets all stringy).
Really, really good soup. Way better than what you get canned. But it does require an investment of your labor and time.
And the Soup Man’s Lobster Bisque is another canned item worthy of hoarding ;-)
But it almost never goes on sale.

Oh for the love of Pete. It is odd to buy 100 cans of soup, Heidi herself made it a story and it’s fun to play with.
Nothing says Baby, I love your cooking more than buying a 100cans of soup....lol
