So the GOPe doesn’t think Cruz is one of them regardless of how loudly Trump folks parrot that he is?

Ya left off the last point...

“BUT. Trump is a complete wildcard; Cruz isn’t.”

“Aside from unannounced weekend work or the occasional government shutdown, they know what they’re getting from Cruz. He is a politician who has demonstrated that he can stick to his principles and navigate politically sticky situations with as much deftness as the next candidate.

Republicans, by contrast, have no idea what they’re getting with Trump. One day he’s suggesting Muslims be banned from the country, the next he’s retweeting a quote from Mussolini, the next his campaign manager is getting charged with battery for allegedly grabbing a reporter’s arm and bruising her.”

Exactly. A lot of people are really focused on the actions of the GOPe. As such, they run the very real risk of alienating the entire base, which, it turns out, Jeb did need after all.

Good luck to the GOPe this fall as MILLIONS of the base vote by staying home. You will lose everything except the cold comfort of The Cheap Labor Express.

Cruz is being used to stop Trump. Then he will be cast aside.

Cruz has his health insurance through Goldman Sachs and they funded his Senate campaign. They completely control him. He’d be happy to keep his Senate seat and his wife’s job. He will go away quietly at the appropriate time.

Ted gets a kick out of all the fools underestimating him.
He’s laughing all the way to the White House.

Why GOP nominee Ted Cruz should worry 2016 Republicans, too

This is what the Washington Pest Won't Say:

Why DEM nominee Hillary Clinton should worry 2016 Democrats, too

I’ve been trying to tell these fools that the RNC will dump Ted Cruz as soon as he’s served his purpose. To eliminate Donald Trump. Remember Jeb Bush saying he will win the nomination.

Cruz is being used as a tool to deny Trump a first round nomination, period. The GOPe is playing him and he craves the idea so much he doesn’t realize it.

I thought at first they’d find a way to make sure it’s Jeb. Now I’m convinced they’ll go with Kaisch.

Is anyone really surprised?

It has been obvious to most, who were paying attention, that the GOPe was using Cruz against Trump and then were going to backstab him too, I was amazed that Cruz didn’t realize this and willingly became the tool of the GOPe.

Most of what comes out from the Washington Post is pure garbage.

Cruz is not going anywhere. He can pull off some minor tactical wins but loses every major battle.

He’s an ankle bitter. Nothing more.

Six months from now nobody will remember who he is. He is wasting everyone’s time.

WaPo fullachit!
Wisconsin guaranteed a contested convention and anyone with any smarts knows Ted will win it.
So the GOP-e came crawling to HIM not he crawling to them.
Ted will used them to win then throw them out like a greasy rag.

John Kasich is the nominee apparent. Might as well get used to typing it now. If you don’t want that to happen, make sure someone walks into the convention with enough votes for a first ballot win.

It's hard to imagine a more far-right presidential candidate than Cruz,

When the Washington Post writes this, you really know that Cruz is a real conservative.

Cruz will not be the nominee. They will dump him two seconds after Trump is eliminated. Kasich will be the nominee, or another GOPe candidate who wasn’t on the ballot.

Of course, Cruz may decide to destroy the party. He is nothing if not vindictive. If they try to bounce him out after using him as a stalking horse against Trump, they may find a lot of interesting facts hitting the news wires.
