How are the delegates "stolen"? I believe I know what stolen means in this context. It means that they were delegates who ran in the primary as a Trump delegate, and now they have changed to commit to be a Cruz delegate.

This post is not criticizing either side. I would just like Cruz supporters mainly to explain how delegates are convinced to suddenly change from being a Trump delegate to a Cruz delegate.

Better than "stolen," the phrase might be the oft-referred to "ground game." What does the "ground game" consist of?
