“Cruz must be so proud.”

He obviously has sociopath tendencies, and the like minded are drawn to him.

You are the one who is totally not informed there were NO precinct caucuses, there was NO VOTING at all!!!

Getting ready for the Colorado caucuses

Enough with the lies already.

There was a delegate convention, when Trump delegates showed up THEY WERE TURNED AWAY told they were not on the delegate list to attend!!!

To get on the delegate list, one must have first attended a precinct caucus and been selected by caucus goers to represent that precinct at the state Convention. If Trump supporters were too stupid to investigate the process beforehand - a process that has been in place for over a decade and a half - then it is no wonder they were not allowed to attend the Convention uninvited.

As for the Trump supporters who did attend, two of them failed to pay the $5 filing fee for being a national convention delegate candidate, thus disqualifying themselves from the ballot. Others passed out flyers with wrong information on it - one item directing Trump supporters to vote for someone who was a Cruz delegate. It is incompetence on steroids. Yet here you are covering it up with lies. Let me guess, you support a Trump supporter, right?

Press Releases
Colorado's delegates to the 2016 RNC will be unbound
August 25, 2015

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.-Last Friday, members of the Colorado Republican Committee's Executive Committee decided against holding a straw poll at its 2016 caucus. The decision means Colorado's delegates to the 2016 Republican National Convention will be unbound.

Republican National Committee bylaws do not allow states to hold non-binding preference polls. Any straw poll conducted at the caucus in 2016 would bind delegates to the poll's results, even if a candidate ultimately decides to suspend or withdraw their campaign.

"Eliminating the straw poll means the delegates we send to the national convention in Cleveland will be free to choose the candidate they feel can best put America back on a path to prosperity and security," Chairman Steve House said. "No one wants to see their vote cast for an empty chair, especially not on a stage as big as the national convention's."

The date of the 2016 Colorado Republican Caucus will be announced next month. Colorado law, however, requires scheduling the caucus on the first Tuesday of either February or March 2016.

wow, you seem to have a complex thinking you are perfect - when I already pointed out your own misread leading to your nasty comment to another FR. get a grip, we all get things wrong at times, and also no one reads/watches every bit of news (as you blasted another FR about having missed seeing this weeks ago).

Trump’s people really dropped the ball on this one. Now they’re calling foul after the game (in which everyone except them apparently knew the rules) is over.

This is an example of where it pays to be organized in EVERY state at the bottoms up-grassroots level as opposed to the top down MO Trump employs.

Very entertaining reading the Cruz-bots making excuses for their

Establishment backed candidate.

If my candidate was gonna insure the establishment gets what they want

I’d rethink my support. Not you Cruz-bots. Loyal disciples of the

Insider/establishment candidate to the end. Good for you guys........

Pride is a powerful emotion. Many of us supported him, but had questions which he answered negatively. The hardcore now just will never admit they were wrong about Saint Theodore the Lion.

They didn’t deny Trump.

They denied the voters who support Trump.

Disfranchisement!

Or - if you have more than 50% Trump delegates at the convention you laugh at the “Resolution” and tell them to pound sand.

I’m sure we will hear more about this “resolution”. If it is worth less than the paper it was printed on or if there is a actual way of getting this into the workings of the voting process. And if it did get into the voting process - what were the results?

From what I can tell these conventions have all sorts of goofiness going on with clever clothing outfits, booths, etc. (I’m going to the Washington State one. I’ll try to document it.)

This whole process is about selecting delegates to the national convention. That holds true in Colorado, New York, Wisconsin, Florida, Idaho, etc. In Colorado, that process began on March 1 when precinct caucuses were held all over the state. In order for a person to be a delegate at the national convention, one must first attend a precinct caucus.

From that caucus, individuals are selected to represent that caucus at the state convention. It is at these precinct caucuses that candidate supporters cast their votes for a designated attendee willing to go to the state convention and support that candidate. If a candidate's supporters do not show up at these precinct caucuses, then the likelihood of that candidate having representative support at that state convention are greatly diminshed.

This is what happened to Trump. His supporters simply failed to show up at the March 1 caucuses. GOPe supporters showed up. Cruz supporters showed up. Kasich supporters showed up. But there was no Trump organization on the ground in Colorado to whip up support when it counted the most - March 1, election day.

Cruz had a Colorado campaign chairman in place in December 2015 with one goal in mind - securing delegates. Trump didn't put one in place until a few weeks after the precinct caucuses were already over.
