Remember when year after year, people kept asking Hillary if she would ever run for president again after getting schlonged by Obola’s Gang in 2008? I remember it too.
How is Paul going to justify running when they finally push him into it? I can see those big puppy dog eyes now, feigning innocence and tepid annoyance at being nominated in spite of his Big Speech. Mitt will be in the background pulling the strings, wishing with all his heart it was him, not Paul being ‘burdened with the nomination (again!).
It was a line from General Sherman: “If nominated I will not run, if elected, I will not serve.” DIfference being, Sherman meant it.
Ryan is a pimp. He never could have outfought Trump. But I never knew, until this day, that it was Romney all along.

Ryan is such a sleaze. Remember when he started his VP run, he was supposed to be conservative and a financial guru. What a fraud.

When Johnson said it, he followed through. First honest thing the man uttered in his life. Ryan is as slimy as Lyndon Johnson, but probably doesn’t have as many body bags to his credit. But he’s young and ambitious. Give him time.
Ryan said it will be someone who ran in the primary. That leaves it wide open for Jeb Bush, Lindsey Graham, any one of the original 17 candidates.
The GOP has a hell of a lot better ground game than Cruz. They’re helping Cruz scoop up delegates for the 2nd ballot but those delegates still aren’t bound.
Also, those “Cruz” delegates will be the majority for rules and you can kiss Rule 40b goodbye. That opens the vote to anyone who ran.
The GOP has said over and over it won’t be Trump. Jeb Bush guaranteed his supporters (all 12 of them) over and over that the nominee will not be Trump. They’re plotting to make it look like a fair deal by using their delegates to keep Trump and Cruz under the magic number until they get to their guy.
