Every campaign makes mistakes or suffers setbacks. Cruz built his whole platform on winning the southern voter and it failed miserably. To his credit, he is still standing, but I think it is more anti-Trump than pro Cruz.
Trump has run the most efficient campaign in modern history. He has gained as much as possible with his strategy, and now it’s time to pivot.
In the next 3 weeks, we could see a complete blowout in the geographic triangle of New York/Massachusetts to Philly to Maryland; arguably the most heavily populated triangle in the United States. He will have increased his raw vote lead by 3-4 million.
