Earlier, I was on a corner and there was a real dirtbag type of person wearing a hoody who was crossing during red. When he got close he swung the bag he had on his shoulder in my direction. I caught this movement in the corner of my eye and pushed my arm forward which made him swing around but he kept walking so I gave him his lucky day and let him go.
Later I told my wife about it and said you never know - those types of dirtbags usually carry a knife. In America it wouldn't be long till someone shot his stupidass. But in Germany that is not likely to happen.
Then she asked what I had in the bag so I showed some stuff I bought including a box-cutter. She laughed and said what was that about dirtbags usually have a knife? You have a box-cutter!
