How many republicans voted for those candidates? It certainly wasn’t the 1 million registered.
My humble guess is that all this took was a dozen guys. There are seven congressional districts in the state....maybe one GOP boss from each, and a couple from the state organization. In the old days, 60-Minutes would have shown up and done a piece on this....but I doubt if any journalist really wants to open up this whole episode.
