My elementary school teachers treated me like I was retarded because I didn’t know how to use the CORRECT hand.
There was a boy in my elementary school when I was growing up who was forced to used his right hand. I remember him saying in class that that was what was ‘wrong’ with him as it caused all sorts of developmental problems. He seemed kind of slow but I do remember him being very bright. Sad.
