Tom Geffers saw it coming at the West End fair.
The Monroe County Republican Committee’s booth at the summertime fair held a straw poll on presidential candidates throughout the week. Geffers, then-chairman of the committee, watched stances change on the GOP — at the time everything was about Donald Trump.
The poll didn’t surprise Geffers then, and neither did recent statistics from the Monroe County voter registration department that showed nearly 600 county voters have switched from the Democratic party to the Republican party since the new year.
Though the county’s Democrat voters still outnumber Republicans — 48,875 to 33,636, as of this week — leading up to Pennsylvania’s April 26 primary elections, changes in party affiliation revolve around the GOP. Just 180 voters switched from Republican to Democrat. …

When I saw the 1st part of the title I immediately thought of Monroe County Florida and thought to my self, NO way Key West is going Pubbie.
Lib is the theme there.
Can Cruz keep them? We may need their votes in the general but up to now they’ve been useful idiots to the left. Think long and hard.
