The Colorado GOP also released a press release declaring that they will not allow any Colorado delegate to vote for Trump. The Colorado GOP just backed off their tweet because they’re morons. They’re saying the same thing officially already.

When are you deluded Cruzies going to understand there is no GOP without Trump voters? Ted Cruz isn’t going to get elected dog catcher without the support of Trump voters. Do you understand that? Do you care? Trump voters will not be bound to the GOP if these shenanigans continue. Period.

Remember this: the Devil always overplays his hand. Rome did it, Napoleandid it, Nazi Germany did it, and now Ted Cruz has done it.— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 9, 2016

Why does evil fail eventually? Because it gets cocky and starts to believe it cannot be defeated and it makes mistakes.
I give you Cruz.— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 9, 2016

Jeez - I have not seen these many SoreLosermen since well...Sore and Loserman (aka Gore and Lieberman).

Trumpettes, why are you getting your collective panties in a wad. If you want to cry and whine about Colorado, blame your leader - he spent no time or money.

No one changed the rules of the game during the game. As conservatives we play by the rules. For years, on this website and others, we’ve complained that it’s liberals that lie and change the rules during the game and now your Trumpettes are doing the same.

Man up, fight the fight and maybe you will win. You may not like Cruz, but don’t fault him for playing the better game - even if it means using the establishment to his benefit.

Yes, at this point the established hates both Cruz and Trump but they know they have to support one of them and sadly for your candidate, it aint him.

Neither one can win a general election against Hillary without the established, as much as you Trumpettes might like to think so. I’m confident that in the end, Cruz will bring the establishment closer to him (and his cabinet) than a demagogue like Trump will.

I find it so overwhelmingly amazing that people who are tired of the establishment, that are tired of go along to get along, that are so tired of backroom deals being made, are celebrating when Cruz does it.

I remember this:

Reports had emerged earlier this year that McConnell privately pledged a vote on the Ex-Im Bank, in exchange for winning support on President Obama's trade agenda. Cruz says he was assured at the time there was no deal.

There is nothing unethical about #NeverTrump, that sentiment is simply a political statement.

Trump will file objections where individuals have evidence that they were silenced outside of what the rules allow, but objection isn't anything more than a "feelgood" because there is no remedy looking backward.

When are you deluded Branch tRumpidians going to understand that without support from Cruz voters that tRump isn’t going to be elected dog catcher. I doubt you care. Otherwise you wouldn’t continue to post lying stories from the NE and Roger Stone. You are the ones trading in “shenanigans”. Period.

Your argument might make more sense if you knew the difference between 'loose' and 'lose'. Further, the 'establishment' NEVER moves closer to anyone. They will take second-tier power under Democrat rule before they cede an inch of their ideological deceit to those they absolutely abhor.

Trump wins half the Republican vote, all of the energized independent vote and all of the blue collar Democrat vote. He wins in a 50 state landslide. Cruz would be luck to win 10 states....

-- The NeverTrumps, what very few exist, tend not to last very long. --

Oh, I'm not so sure. Some come back - libbylu for example - others hide behind a claim that they'd vote for Trump if he got the nomination.

No matter, FR is a self-selected group of chatters, and what passes here is of no meaningful consequence. Out in the real world, what works is power and influence. It is heartening to see that the press and parties are losing their ability to influence perception, but they still have the power.

Yeah....Clinton used a variant of that thought train with his "it's under investigation, I gotta get back the American Peoples' business."

Nuremberg Trials 'looked backward'.....Israel's Adolf Eichmann Trial 'looked backward'....and on and on and on and on.....

That "proposed resolution" didn't come from the party, although perhaps it was presented to the party for consideration. Of course, members of the party, a subgroup, prepared the proposed resolution, and for all I know their sentiment reflects that of a majority of republicans in the state of Colorado. But the state party would never be so overt as to adopt an open resolution against a candidate still in the running - effectively going into open rebellion against the RNC.

tRump and the tRumpettes are very good at whining, which is easy to do, and not so good at actually doing anything, which requires work.

The Donald likes bring a Rock Star and his supporters enjoy being the 16 year old girls, screaming and throwing their underware on stage at the concert.

Like all Rock Stars, rules are for other people.

He’s like most politicians, in it for personal gain. As far as this election season shows, mostly we get that Cruz and the party are perfectly aligned on one topic, #NeverTrump.

Cruz isn’t getting elected dog catcher without Trump votes. Trump won at the ballot box. He has the votes.

All Cruz can do is burn down the GOP and gift wrap the Senate to the dems. How principled and conservative of him. Have you no sense of decency, Mr. Cruz?
