New, yet Victorian, views of sex on college campuses have led to a return to the days when men were the ultimate protectors of women. This view says that women who drink cannot be held accountable for their actions, and are to be viewed as victims. Men who drink, meanwhile, are to be held accountable for their actions (and the actions of the women around them), and are to be viewed as perpetrators.

One can only hope that the horrible events don't happen to people you care about.
The accusation process once it starts moving has a life of its own. It just runs over and crushes little details like the accused being innocent.
Too long for a tagline, and too true to boot.
We need to ban colleges.

The irony:
There has never been a more licentious generation where recreational sex and sex out of marriage are so widely accepted as the norm.
Women today are prodded and pushed by society and the government to be more aggressive, to act like men, to go after what they want and take what they want.
Yet men are demonized for the slightest display of normal behavior.
A normal man whistling at an attractive female is treated worse than an illegal alien homosexual pedophile.
Try that “logic” with a DUI. “Officer, I have been drinking and I am not responsible for my own actions and cannot be held accountable for anything I choose to do.”
Liberals crack me up. If they’re not handing out condoms because “it’s going to happen anyway”, they’re lecturing men on how they need to exercise more self control. Reality always seems to be malleable enough to accommodate their agenda.
This explains why robots are making such inroads.
Can you imagine explaining a RealDoll to a college roommate? I bet it’s happened more than once.
