Elon Musks private space company SpaceX made history on Friday finally landing its reusable Falcon 9 rocket on a drone ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Wow! It was coming down at an angle but made a very stable landing in rough seas. The barge was really kicking up some white spray as it tossed in the water.
Still, this is yuge. Really.

The capsule survived the rocket that exploded last year, but the software wasn’t programmed to deploy the parachutes in that situation.

Well, I wouldn’t want to ride the booster down, but this is a neat step toward commercial space being more cost-efficient.
Awhhhhh.......Didn’t even hit the bulls eye. Actually, I’m quite impressed. I’m not a Musk electric car fan, but this is quite impressive. It could mean a new level of technology in space flight, after quite a few decades of stagnation.

Anymore it’s getting hard to go to the doctor, too, because the healthcare ‘professionals’ look more and more like grade school children.
