Here’s the best answer that I’ve seen:

The most conservative parts of CA are in the Central Valley and the Sierra Nevada foothills. Those counties are very rural and very conservative and are by far the most conservative in CA. But they don’t make up a large portion of CA’s population either.

Basically the Sierra foothills and Central Valley are the most conservative followed by Southern CA except for LA County and probably Santa Barbara County too. Northern CA is pretty much all liberal except for the central valley and foothill region.

Skiing, fishing, hunting, hiking, & mountaineering, Cali has a lot of natural beauty.

Actually, the most accurate description is that coastal
areas which contain the largest population concentration
except for Orange County and San Diego is where the
libtards dwell. The exception would be the few
larger cities away from the coast such as inter-city
Fresno and the government worker haven of Sacramento.
The suburbs of those communities lean right which is
common across the nation.

Actually, I see CA divided politically as coast and inland, rather than north and south as has been assumed for years. I am a 3rd generation CA dating back to the late 1800s. I fled in 1972 when the political and social climate was turning it into a place where I didn’t want my children to grow up. I still have some pretty nice relatives there, but I only see them now at funerals and reunions. Even though they are conservative by CA standards, they are still too liberal for me! LOL.
