Let me present a wild idea of what might be happening:
1. Hillary is guilty as sin and must be indicted.
2. If Hillary drops her candidacy before the convention Bernie gets the nomination.
3. Hillary will probably win nomination and can pick a VP with experience say a governor or Senator.
4. Immediately after the convention Hillary resigns due to health reasons the chosen VP then takes the top slot and chooses a popular VP candidate.
This is probably the only way to keep Bernie out.
I think you are right. I think Hillary knows she wont be president and it is all about keeping the presidency out of the republican hands. the party insiders know that neither Hillary or Bernie can win so they will have her win the primary and resign shortly after the convention. the E-mail scandal will be delayed till after the election and Obama will pardon her after the election.
Is that how the DNC convention rules work?
I’m on record here saying that Hillary is about to have severe medical issues that take her out of the race and preclude prosecution. She will get a blanket pardon as Obama leaves office.
Sanders actually has a shot at the nomination if details of the corruption are leaked to the media. FWIW, does anyone else think it’s odd the Panama papers just came out and her buddy Blumenthal is linked? My guess isenough of the super delegates are going to bolt once they learn out massive the corruption is.
That means the Democrats have to come up with an alternative to Sanders very fast.
I think the oligarchy is wanting Bernie out. They can’t control him. They might be waiting til she gets the nom (and takes their choice of veep) and he is finished. I think it would be better for the country if he were the nom and not someone picked by the cabal.
He probably won’t, but Bernie should start asking publicly for a presser from the FBI because the country needs to know how deep Clinton is into criminal felony indictments. This would throw their little plans for a loop.
We should definitely want Bern as the D nominee.
And, frankly, I never thought I would live through a situation more far fetched than the Emperor’s Clothes. But having the media report on Hillary Clinton as if she were a law abiding, normal candidate for President is way more crazy than the Emperor walking through town naked.
