Trump Delivers Solid Outline of How Mexico Pays for Border Wall – POTUS Balks, Liberal Media

Truncated title.

Full title: Trump Delivers Solid Outline of How Mexico Pays for Border Wall – POTUS Balks, Liberal Media Apoplectic

We have actually been puzzled about why candidate Donald Trump was reluctant to present a very easy, factual and reasonable outline of how it is entirely possible for U.S. policy to incentivize Mexico to pay for the Southern Border Security Wall.

One of the reasons we’ve been puzzled, is simply because the process itself is very easy to initiate. Personally I think Trump is sandbagging on many of these solutions, preferring to hold back the substance of the policy proposals for the General Election.

However, today Donald Trump presented the simple outline (pdf below) and the liberal media is apoplectic.

This is a good article describing Trump's plan to secure the border. Whether you agree or disagree with securing the border the article is informative.

We are paying an income tax on products we export: illegal. And we import labor in forms of illegal aliens without charging them a tax sending the money overseas.

Since when Trump’s taxes on imports ever become illegals? Why do libertarian free traders insist on national suicide?

Trump's yuuuge, brilliant plan is almost as leaky as the southern border itself.

If wire transfers are stopped, Mexican illegals will find any number of ways to easily send cash back home -- pay U.S. citizens to act as fronts, send cash, send money orders, use PayPal, etc, etc, etc.

But wait, Cruz won Wisconsin and is surging! Donald has no right to carry on, he needs to suspend, drop out, manage his chaos, retreat from Waterloo, acknowledge he’s beatable and beaten,....

Did I miss anything?

According to sundance, Trump could crap on a sidewalk and he’d call it a “masterpiece”.

No, that pretty much covers all the latest memes.

When they carry that money across the border, they'll find out the door only opens one way. ;-)

Start fining the companies that hire and hide them.

I don’t think it would work but it does look like there is a system in place to implement it. Maybe he could pull it off.

Someone should look to see how well this system stopped money from flowing to Cuba and how much money it raised if any.

You did forget to mention he's losing in polls against Hillary.

Can anyone doubt those polls won't stay the same in November? Obvious to the most casual observer, just ask Jimmy Carter.....

Read the article.

I did. And I did not see any indication how Trump (or anyone else) thinks this "solution" will prevent 50 other ways for illegals to send money back to Mexico that do not involve wire transfers.

If President Trump prohibits wire transfers to Mexico, a business in Canada will step in to provide the same service.

Instead of transferring money directly to Mexico, a someone would send the money to the Canadian company and they would, for a small fee, send the money to Mexico.

He implies that the wire transfers will continue once the wall is funded.

But, yes, if you fine the companies that hire them heavily, they will self deport because there are no jobs for them.

I was talking to one of the biggest Trump fans I know In Real Life, and she said the plan sounded idiotic, or something like that.

Don’t worry. It won’t be Trump OR Cruz.

Cruz and his disciples have done a good job of protecting the establishment.
