Yes. It’s about the math. The goal is to deny Trump the magic number on the first ballot. (There are ways.) If he doesn’t win on the first ballot he’s toast.

That is all nice... except wrong. If neither have 1200 at the convention... guess what? Either could still win. They don’t just kick you out if you don’t get 12 by then.
