It’s just pure nepotism and cronyism.

The primary calendar is reflective of the places where they can exert the most amount of control with the least amount of effort. Corrupting the voting process and transforming that into inside delegations is the name of the game.

Cruz had any integrity he would not be trying to pack Trump delegations with stealth Cruz supporters.

When the old media, cruz, or kasic talk about “contested convention”

what they are really saying is “disenfranchise the voters”

IOW votes only count if GOPe candidates win. IOOW jbush’s jolly jokers. (the sitting senators, governors etc who were there to split votes)

Grandpa Munster Cruz has zero integrity and this proves it. He is a skunk and not worthy of the good people who support him.

No cajun,

Cute gif, but not representative of the losencruzan.

Ted is not winning fairly by his own accord.

Voters overwhelming prefer Donald J. Trump.

Congrats: Ted won most of TULSA & TEXAS! whoopie!

Millions of Americans attended & watched Trumps rallies. The media and GOPe have a habit of making losers into winners. They can’t twist these results. Trump’s wins strongly prove his ‘win ability’ in the GE.

While Trump clearly dominates, we’re stuck with the GOPe their guy trying to siphon delegates. Ted is in cahoots to promote rule changes to qualify himself or obtain some other ‘favor’ for blocking Trump’s victory.

Trump has 21 states w 6,020,000 winning votes. Cruz has 10 states w 1,724,000! Cruz has weaseled wins in small caucus states with oddball vote tallying. (Maine=fraud.)
Cruz carried these states:
Virgin Is..........by only .30 votes
Wyoming........by only 480 votes
Alaska............by only 600 votes
Maine.............by......2,500 votes
(Total votes= size of a local high school)

Ted’s total votes from 9 wins.

Wyoming.....620
Virgin Isl......200
Alaska..... 8,400
Maine...... 8,500
Kansas... 35,000
Iowa...... 52,000
Idaho....100,000
Utah.....122,000
Okie.....158,000
Cruz’s total of 485,000 votes equal the population of Tulsa, OK!
If it wasn’t for Texas, he’d have nothing but a pile of beans!
Not to be confused with “spilling the beans,on Heidi!” ; o )

Ted Cruz’s Texas win was 1,239,000
Cruz won 9 states with..... 1,724,000

Trump won 21 states by hundreds of thousands of votes. The millions that have watched his rallies have voted for him.
Marianas..............343...........Hawaii..............6,000
Vermont..........20,000..........Nevada............35,000
Kentucky.........83,000..........N. Hamp........101,000
Louisiana.......125,000.........Arkansas.......133,000
Mississippi......191,000.........S. Carolina...241,000
Arizona...........250,000..........Mass...........311,000
Tennessee.......333,000..........Virginia.......356,000
AlaBama..........372,000..........Missouri......382,000
N. Carolina......458,000..........Michigigan...483,000
Georgia...........503,000...........Illinois.........557,000
..........................................And Florida 1,079,741

Trump has won 21 states with 6,020,000 votes. He has a total of 7,897,990 total votes and 752 delegates. Thats 283 more delegates than Ted.

Cruz’s campaign is now pure chicanery. It is impossible for him to have a clean delegate win. I’s impossible for Cruz to qualify for POTUS as a natural born Canadian.

A better example would be when your daughter has earned the title of Valedictorian based on her academic performance, yet the honor is bestowed upon the principal’s kid.

so much for “principled conservative”

what principles does Ted have again?

if he had any, he would demand these shenanigans stop

never ONCE have I heard a Trumpster ask that Donald lay into Texas or Utah and try and buy off votes or use some sort of underhanded method to sway delegates

and I am pretty sure, that we that support Trump would have no part of that sort of thing, and it would turn us off to him.

Most Trump supporters I talk to support him because he is for the average American who has no voice. If he were to stink up the elections in this manner, or if the GOP were to stink up the elections on his behalf, he would lose his luster and shine to us who support him.

But it seems, for those who like Cruz, it emboldens them. I’m not sure why, but they seem to relish in this nonsense.

A pox on both the GOP and Cruz for not disavowing it.

Easy...I’d be consistent and principled and say that Cruz needs to up his game and actually WIN the nomination, not just 65% of the nomination.

No need to waste hundreds of millions of dollars. No need to spend a year on the campaign trail. No need to take everyone’s hard earned donations. No need to have volunteers sacrificing their time. No need to jam the TV with non-stop terrible ads.

But you don't understand the PURPOSE of the eighteen-month reality show called CHOOSING THE PRESIDENT 2016™.

The purpose is not to allow voters to have a say (although sometimes they do). It is to shrink every possible leader down to size and to drive all the newly-created little people to the "center", making sure that whoever is elected, nothing ever changes.

If a candidate gets off script or acts out of character, the REAL decision makers - the iron quadrilateral of consultants, pollsters, infotainment media and donors - will quickly make short work of him or her, making sure the public knows he/she is "stupid", "a clown", "unprepared", "unpresidential", "a slutty stewardess", a "racist" (meaningless), a "sexist" (even more meaningless), and so on.

When their power is challenged they first escalate, then they start to panic, which is what is happening now.

Just as "consumers" are supposed to buy the products the advertisers suggest, "voters" are supposed to behave themselves and do as they are told.

Isn’t it hilarious how deluded Cruzies are so happy to be used and abused by Daddy Cruz? Bought and paid for career politician Ted Cruz cares nothing for them.

Ted Cruz: “The will of the voters must be respected”.

Do I need to translate that into Espanol for you? Something very bad is going to happen if the will of primary voters is not respected. And Ted Cruz’s finger prints will be all over it. Own it all, FRiend.

Not likely. If the Trump campaign were snatching Cruz delegates, we’d probably assume that our candidate was a weak one, didn’t have his act together, and move on to a candidate who did have his act together. Why waste a vote on someone who isn’t willing to even bother to anticipate the ins and outs of the election process. They’d probably make a poor President anyway.

Something very bad eh, wow sounds like a threat, violence by the trumpanzees if their guy doesn’t win due to ignorance of the rules combined with his arrogance and narcissism?

Sorry I’m not going down with the trump train in the GE, YMMV.

And yet you want to be one who chooses the GOP’s candidate for President. Interesting.

Excellent post!

I think that they run the primaries as an old fashioned illusion to offer the people their choice. The second reason is to gather up a 1/2 billion dollars and redistribute it among themselves, advertisers, advisors, and the like. Politicing is a lucrative business.

The real reason why Trump is losing delegates is because he is talking and people are listening.

Love all of the whining in this thread. “No fair!” “Wahhhh!” “Poor us!” “Mommy, he’s cheating!” Boo-freakin-hoo. I thought all you Trumpsters were tough-guy winners, not crybabies.

Absolutely. That is a threat. There is no GOP without Trump supporters. Defy the will of the primary voters and it the end of the GOP. RIP GOP.

Cruzers can’t have their cake and eat it to. Either it’s “the will of the voters” or it’s “the rules”. Those are diametrically opposed points.

Either way, Ted Cruz is not winning. It’s that simple. The choice is the person with the most GOP primary votes/states (Trump) or Hillary. Choose wisely.
