Yours was an interesting link. Thank-you for it. In a nutshell, one must be a native.

Cruz father didn’t become a citizen until 4-5 years ago from what I understand. Cruz wasn’t born here, and lived in Canada during his early years. He himself didn’t become a citizen until around a year and a half ago. According to the rules on the linked site, he doesn’t qualify as a native.

It’s also my understanding that the ‘rats intend to challenge his right to hold the office. Looks like sealed records is the way to go says Obama.

I really don’t think that he, or anybody else, should be allowed to do that. It does go against the spirit of the law as well as the letter of the law.

Be that as it may be, If I were in second place, I wouldn’t drop out either because that puts Kasich in a position to take the nomination as Cruz’s delegates would be distributed somewhere...presumably between Trump and Kasich.

There are spare delegates flying around so I can understand Cruz wanting to grab some of those.

The real problem is, he doesn’t belong there in the first place which is a separate issue.

Something else I forgot to mention...It’s interesting how the FBI can break into private, locked phones to gain info about possible legal violations, but they can’t do that with records to uphold the constitution?

Legal beagles, how can this be?
