“Undue burden”?? All that fighting by Apple to protect muslim terrorists and it took the FBI mere days to read that iPhone, and they aren’t even the experts at the iPhone like Apple is. Apple calls that extreme little effort “undue burden”? Apple spent thousands of times more effort to not help the FBI than it took the FBI to do the job.

Didn't bother to read the article about what "undue burden" is defined as, did you? Thought not.

Yours is a strange definition of “secure” which makes discussion of security impossible.

To compel them is to let the world know that their phone is NOT secure.

Apple should have quietly cracked the phone. Now the world knows that the expertise is out there to do it.

But then, 99.9% of iPhone users don’t even know what encryption is.

I'll believe that the phone was actually cracked when the Feds 1)actually produce evidence obtained from the phone and 2)drop all legal attempts to require manufacturer cooperation (since they now claim to have no need of such assistance).
